The Black Gold

In Luna City, there was a black mountain called Gold Mountain. There were many stories spread about the gold underneath the mountain for quite some time. The people in the city had many political troubles and had never been in a stable situation and had never had any peace. They were constantly fighting with each other, yet they all shared one target: Gold Mountain. They were all looking to get authority and power, indeed.
One day, aliens came out of space looking for the same target of Gold Mountain. They believed that they could get the power they needed for their planet. At the beginning, the aliens found a lot of resistance from the people who were living over in Luna City. These people were defending their land hardily.
Fox was the boss of the Aliens and he was leading his group with all of his capability.
“We came onto ground looking for peace, not trouble, and we are having too much trouble here from this piece of land and this little trash of a nation,” Fox said.
“Yes Sir, you are right! We are fed up with them, honestly, “replied Alien 1.
“We tried our best to inform them of your message, Sir, but they refused to listen to us,” Alien 2 added.
“Yes, I know that,” said Fox. “They are very aggressive. We should find a way to stand on stable land and we do not want any more fights, do you understand what I mean?”
“You are right, Sir,” both officers replied. “In our place, where we have a delightful life, we never fought each other. We love peace and we live in a safe world.”
The aliens believed they were superior creatures and they came to fix the trouble on earth. In the mean time, they were looking for Gold Mountain and the power stone underneath. But they had also come with a peaceful mission and they did not want to get involved in a fight with the people on the earth. Actually, they were very patient and quiet.
“Let us give them some more time,” Fox ordered.
Some people gathered in the shopping center; three men and two young boys. A man named Roy spoke to the others loudly.
“We should fight them with as much effort as we have! They are our enemy and they are aliens that came from outside of the earth,” Roy shouted.
Teddy was a young man who had a different point of view. He thought that they were very helpful and that they might give them lots of help and power. And he was excited to deal with them. Some other people were against him, however, and they were very afraid of the aliens. They thought they might kill them all and have the earth to live on instead of mankind.
“I have heard about these aliens from my teacher, and he said that they do not eat food or drink water. They live just like plants,” Sam said.
Joseph took a stone from the ground and he threw it onto the top of the hill.
“We must fight them with the rocks, the stones and the sand. They are here for the black Gold Mountain,” said Joseph.
A man interrupted the crowd of people in the street and he shouted.
“We should not fight the aliens; we should understand what they want. They say that they are here to help us; they want to improve our civilization and we should listen to them! Let them explain why they are here and what they want,” the man said.
A young person pushed the man with his hand because he got angry of what he said.
Even though some people thought that the aliens wanted to kill them, they supported them. Some of them thought that the aliens wanted to take the sources of life from the earth. Nobody could fight them, they thought, because the aliens were invisible creatures. They believed that they could disappear whenever they wanted and it would be very difficult to fight them or to see them, indeed.
The young person got into a fight with another man who was talking positively about the aliens.
“You are completely wrong. They want to help us. They are very helpful and they are like angels,” a man on the street said.
Suddenly, a big spaceship appeared where the people were crowded on the street. It started to flash lights all around the area. Then they killed some of the people who were running away from the spaceship. They killed women and children and some animals. It was terrifying and horrible. After a little while, the spaceship disappeared and the police cars went around the area to help people and take injured people to the hospitals.
At the same time, some people were attacking the aliens at the end of the street and getting revenge. They killed some of them while the others went away. Fox ran away with his officers onto a small spaceship and then they disappeared.
On the other side of the city, many people were running towards the black mountain, except Joseph, who did not like the idea of getting gold. The people found the gold underneath the mountain. They fought each other and they killed each other just to get more gold.
Joseph shouted, “Please leave the gold and keep it away from you! It is not ours; we just need the mercy of God while the aliens are attacking us! Nobody should touch this gold!”
In the evening, Fox met with his soldiers.
“We killed everyone in this village,” Officer 2 said.
“We should complete our plan very quickly and run away back to our world,” said Fox.
“What else do you think we have to do, Sir?” asked Officer 1. “Shall we remove the black Gold Mountain and take it with us?”
“Shall we take it with us?” Officer 2 asked.
“We cannot do that, you idiot,” Fox replied.
Suddenly, Fox received a call from his planet. It was his boss.
“Get back here immediately; it is an order,” the Boss said.
Fox was confused, because he could not refuse his boss’ orders.
“Who sent you on this mission to earth?” the Boss asked.
“No one, Sir,” Fox answered. “I did. It was my idea, actually.”
“You will be punished, Fox, because you knew that we are not allowed to fight the people of the earth,” the Boss said. “I have learned that you did kill them and you destroyed their land. You will be punished and you will be in prison for good.”
At the end, Fox and all of his soldiers went back to their planet, obeying the orders of his boss. Joseph was the only person still alive on his land, because he never thought about the gold and the black mountain; he was always very honest and satisfied. He started to contact other places in the world to get help and to survive.
